• April, recorded the song and video “O Soave Fanciulla” (Puccini) in Tuscany,
Italy with Italian superstar Gino Paoli. This was featured as the theme song at the Italian Pavillion in Shanghai, China for the 2010 World Expo.

  2009

• January, concert series in Italy.
• February, March, April, series of concerts in Canada, including the featured artist at the Montreal Highlights Festival.
• April 2009, recorded a traditional Chinese song (Nan Ni Wan) in Mandarin for China Mobile ad campaign (spring and summer of 2009).

• April to December, more concerts in Canada, China, the UK and Italy.
• May to October, Selected by the 2010 World Expo Shanghai Bureau to sing
the theme song (Better City, Better Life) with the famous Chinese baritone Liao Chang Yong, aired on TV on May 1st, 2009 (One Year Countdown to the World Expo) until the end of the Expo. In addition, the song was used as a video and TV trailer featuring Giorgia Fumanti and Liao Chang Yong in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo ad campaign from May 2009 to October 2010.
• October, performed on Dragon TV in Shanghai (20 million viewing audience) for the 200 day countdown to the Shanghai World Expo as well as performances at the Shanghai International Arts Festival and for Sennheiser China.
• November, performed with Michael Bolton for 2 evenings at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London and later that same month with her solo concert at La Fenice in Venice, Italy.
• November, release of her 4th CD Magnificat in Canada

2008

• February, performed at the 2008 Chinese New Year All Star Show, a mega
televised concert for the Shanghai Media Group and sang with Chinese pop star, Wei Wei.
• April, performed in Athens (Athens Arena) with Mario Frangoulis, Lucio Dalla and Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues).
• April, performed at the National Center of Performing Arts, in Beijing, with tenor Yu Qiang Dai and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra.
• August, performed at the Beijing Olympics for CCTV (700 million viewing
audience). October, series of concerts in the USA with crooner Patrizio Buanne.

• October, performed in Nanning (China), at the prestigious opening ceremony of the Nanning International Folksong Art Festival in front of 30 000 spectators and viewed China wide on CCTV.
• November, release of Je Suis, Giorgia’s first French album on Universal Music which charted on the top album sales charts in Quebec

• November, December, performed a series of concerts and appearances in Italy,Canada, USA and China and was a special guest on the PBS TV Christmas special titled Sharing Christmas with John McDermott and Friends.
• December, performed in Beijing for BTV (Beijing Television) Recorded the theme song for the Korean film My Mother Mermaid and the
TV and radio commercial for Hyundai in Korea.

2007

• In 2007-2008, numerous concerts and appearances across Canada, United States,Mexico, England, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and South Africa.

Yukari Nakano, Japanese figure skating champion used Giorgia Fumanti’s song Aria (from the From My Heart CD) in her Exhibition Programs in 2007 and 2008.
• March, performed on the national broadcast PBS Special, Heavenly Voices
that was aired across the USA and Canada. The Heavenly Voices DVD was also released worldwide on EMI.
• May, Al Gore, ex Vice-President of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize
winner, invited Giorgia Fumanti to sing for the Climate Group in 2007.
• January, performed the National Anthem at the NHL All Star Game in Dallas.
• April, worldwide release of her debut CD (EMI) From My Heart, produced by Craig Leon (Blondie,The Ramones, Luciano Pavarotti, Sting, Joshua Bell, Sir JamesGalway). From My Heart charted on the top 20 on Billboard’s top classical crossover albums, and went No. 1 in Japan and South Africa.
• June, invited by Lang Lang to perform with him at Lake Las Vegas
• June, invited by José Carreras to share the stage and be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hampton Court Festival, in London
• July, performed for the Governors of Nevada, Texas and Georgia.
• August and September, toured Japan and performed 21 concerts
• September, performed for the Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg at
Gracie Mansion.
• October, toured with Italian superstar Zucchero.
• October, performed the theme song Closing Ceremony of the Special Olympics in Shanghai at the stadium with 40,000 spectators and broadcasted throughout China and Asia.
• November, December, toured with The Canadian Tenors.
• December, sang at the opening announcement TV ceremony for the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

2006

•December and January 2007, toured with José Carreras (Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan)
• The song Like A Dream was used in a major national TV and internet add
campaign for the Daesang Corp. in Korea

2005

• Live concert recorded for BRAVO TV Special that aired Canada wide. Toured with the Russian Red Army Choir from Moscow as special guest soloist. Series of concerts in Canada, Taiwan, Korea and Italy.

• Performed at the Jeongseon World Arirang Festival in South Korea and at the Jeonju Sori Festival at Moack Hall of the Sori Center with the Iksam Philharmonic Orchestra that was aired on national South Korean TV

2004

• April, Giorgia Fumanti kicks off her brilliant career with the release of her debut album Like A Dream, released in Canada, China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and India. All the music was composed by Vangelis. The release of this album was followed by concerts and promo tours in Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and India.
• Performed at the Peace Concert with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at theSeoul Arts Center and with the MBC Pops Orchestra in Seoul for MBC TV in South Korea.
